Telehealth Urgent Care/Virtual Urgent Care

Telehealth Urgent Care Evaluations by TMG

At Telehealth Medical Group (TMG), our goal is to offer safe, convenient, and effective telehealth urgent care evaluations to you in the comfort of your own home. Getting medical care in a timely manner can treat small problems before they become big ones. It can also get you feeling better more quickly.

Our virtual urgent care services work with patients across the nation to provide timely medical services to you no matter where you are. We also operate seven days a week, so we’re here when you need us.

We know that the idea of getting medical care online may be new to you, so we want you to know that we follow all of the telehealth guidelines established by the American Medical Association. We also utilize HIPAA-compliant technology to keep your medical information safe and private.

Conditions We Can Evaluate Virtually

TMG can evaluate and help you manage a wide variety of conditions. Like your local doctor, we chart and document all of your interactions with us. This provides you with continuity of care so we can assist you on an ongoing basis with issues like weight management and smoking cessation.

With your permission, we can also store images of wounds, rashes, and other issues so we can monitor your progress as you heal. If necessary, and again with your consent, we can share your information with other doctors if you need to receive more hands-on treatment from a local physician.

TMG can also write prescriptions so you can quickly get any medications you may need to treat or manage your condition. The problems we can help you with via virtual urgent care include:

  • Upper respiratory infections
  • Fevers and colds
  • Pink eye (conjunctivitis)
  • Urinary tract infections
  • Skin rashes and conditions
  • Pain management
  • Weight loss management
  • Smoking cessation
  • Additional services as applicable

How It Works: The Telehealth Evaluation Process

Getting a telehealth urgent care evaluation is easy and convenient. Here is an outline of the steps involved in the process:

  1. Schedule an Appointment
To schedule an appointment, simply visit our website and click “sign up” under the urgent care evaluation section of our homepage. You will be directed to a form that asks for some personal and medical information. Once you complete and submit the form, someone from our office will contact you within 24 hours to schedule your virtual urgent care evaluation.
  2. Prepare for Your Evaluation
You can participate in your evaluation from anywhere that you have a reliable internet connection. We do, however, recommend choosing a quiet, well-lit space for your appointment. It’s easier to evaluate you accurately if we can see you well. You should also gather your medical history and information before your appointment so you have them handy. Have your current medications at the ready, as well, or have a list of them and their dosages.
  3. Participate in Your Scheduled Evaluation
During your evaluation, your healthcare provider may ask you questions about your medical history, current symptoms, and other relevant information. They may also ask you to show them any rashes, injuries, or blemishes if doing so is practical. You will also have the opportunity to ask the telehealth provider any questions you have about your symptoms or condition. Before the end of the virtual urgent care call, your provider will discuss your diagnosis, treatment plan, and next steps with you.
  4. Follow Up as Directed
After your call, you will receive a copy of your treatment plan. TMG will generate any necessary prescriptions or referrals for you as well. If in-perron care is necessary, TMG may contact your local provider to help you set an appointment and get treatment.
